Honour killing (or honor killing) practiced by some members of the Islam religion, is the type of murder when usually the father or any senior member of a family ends the life of a daughter or son who brought dishonor to the family.

The dishonor could mean a daughter has followed the “westernized” ways, or refused an arranged marriage, or anything that would bring shame to the family or has deviate from the traditions of Islam.
